Callis Foundation presents scholarship awards at Zion Baptist Church

The Callis Foundation awarded scholarships to area students during Martin Luther King, Jr. Day services at Zion Baptist Church in Marietta.

The Foundation sponsored an icebreaker with Walton High students  and emphasized career opportunities in STEM fields; “Science, Technology, Engineering & Math.” We also  discussed specific academic requirements for STEM and other career choices.

The Foundation sponsors annual trips to Colleges and Universities around the Southeast. Recent trips have included Wake Forest, Florida State, UNC Greensboro,  North Carolina A&T , Florida State, Florida A&M, Bethune Cookman, Morehouse, and Clark AU.
